a shot using my film cam in back n white film
Again Guys i like to share to you my experiences in photography, how i learned photography?
I learned photography through books, the internet and the most important during my practice/experience
.
Ive never had a formal study in photography but this is one of my dream to graduate as a fine art and major in advertising....(just wishing)
Learning fom pages
Just imagine before when i started photography i have a seperate notebook where i put all the details of a frame that i took. From aperture to shutter and climatic condition...(FILM)
this is where i started to learn the basic of photography....for almost 3 months i finish reading 1 book in basic photography and go over two books on advance photography this is how important why we need to read books...they help us build our foundation...
i was lucky i started film because i was able to dig dipper into the basics of photography.
This was also the advice by Jay Tablante to me "read a lot of books. you dont need to go to school to study lighting" (one of my dream is to master the 5 lighting style)(based from his experience ahehehe asteg diba)
Surfing to the www
Wow we should be thankful to the www i myself got a lot of information from the WWW. You can fimd a lot of inpiration fro shoot...tuturials in the internet...basically the internet is the one who exposed me to the Post Production or EDITING...
But mind you guys its better to correct your exposure| framing during the shoot than fixing it in the computer to save time
"Experience is the best teacher" (sabi nga nila)
Yes this is true...and im one of those to testify...."learned the basic and go out and shoot"
roaming around the street is my laboratory....it like the outside world is my biggest studio..
this is where i apply all what ive learned from books and internet....
or i can say this is where my foundation started to build-up..
Things that i always remember in photography
1.we need not to got to school to study photography (if we dnt have the means)
2. photography as an art: some were born to be an artist and for some descover it though their love for it
3. Work Hard if you love your craft im sure you will do everthing..
4. Put your heart into your work...its not always that you brain dictates let you heart over rule your creativity and imagination
5. Dont be afraid to learn new things
Building our foundation meaning learning the basics is the most important
Thanks for reading and advance Merry Christmass and Happy New year
