I had the right time to share to you the history
of my photography since ive already finished all my exams in school..

two years in Capturing images

I can still remember, that was march of 2005,
when i started to be fascinated with camera...
You know what? it was the Depth of feild tecnique
that burst my mind to go to the world of photography

ON FILM

I bought my FIRST SLR CAMERA for 1500pesos
and thats worth of my snack allowance for a month..ahehehhe
It was a ASAHI pentax a 1940's camera with an f/2 55mm asahi lens..
Ive learned the basics of photography from this camera..
from exposure, focusing and simple techniques..
Its like im spending about 3 rolls of film a day
just to learned...and it takes me 3 months to come up with
a good exposure and imagine my camera is fully manual
with too foggy viewfinder...but later i was able to mastered it..
and at that time i was really in landscape and flower photography
and i bet most of the photographer started with that

ON DIGITAL

and later my mother give me a 2.1MP Kodak camera
which she told me she got it in the trash can of her employer
in hongkong. so at that time i was very happy to receive a digital camera,
it was my dream and it was like dream come true...ahehhehehe

ON POSTPROCESSING

I can still remember when my sister gave me a
bok on basic photoshop..and in just one day
i was able to familiarized the basic tools in photoshop
and that was the start...

IN SEARCHING FOR INSPIRATION

after that im fan of editing my photos...
and in one of my fotos in my friendster account
was commented by a photographer and now a famous fashion
photographer in CEBU City
according to him: "is this your photo or librodo's photo"

but i neglected that comment..
and later im starting to ask question who is Manny librodo?

and then when i search him...and open his PBASE account
and i simply say WOW...he is really really good
and my works then was influenced by manny librodo style

when i recieved my D40

i was very happy when my mother call me
and telling me im gonna buy you a d40
tommorow and ill send it to you...
during this time ive realized that my mother
is willing to support me my hobby...

and now im two years in photography
done one solo exhibit..
joined 2 exhibits
won 3 contest
and twice in newspaper
and do a lot of commercial shoot to support my hobby financially
im telling you guys....to be honest i was not expecting
to go this far....ahahahahhaha
because im just a hobbyist
im diong it for fun.....

and i hope to do more n the upcoming years..
im planning now on my next solo exhibit...
either Black n white|elements|or unseen cagayan(fashion collection)


PHOTOGRAPHY IS A NEVER ENDING PROCESS OF LEARNING
everyday im inocent to my environment because of photography
